David Allen
Whitson started an electrical contracting
business from his father’s basement in 1983.
Presently, Whitson Electric Company Inc. is a
full service, licensed, insured, bonded, and
qualified contractor. Operating with over 25
years of experience and licensed in NC and TN.
We plan to be licensed in SC and VA in the near
future.
David has operated successfully in the
electrical business as well as low voltage and
heating and air conditioning field. “I pride the

Service, and Safety.” Whitson Electric is

relationship and our challenging goals to
compete against our larger competition. Our

The company is managed by David and his wife
Stephanie Whitson. Stephanie obtained her
electrical license in 1991 and is presently the
company’s president operating under MWB act
(minority woman owned business) status.
Projects range from residential homes to high
rise construction. Our installations include
office and retail shops, renovations,
universities, super markets, motor control
operations and utility construction.
We service and sell major brands of generators
for home and industry to prevent costly down
times.
Our installations include design-build projects,
maintenance repairs, green technology,
underground service systems, overhead power
connections, low voltage and pole lighting.
